The Portland Drag Theatre Workshop returns June 22nd + 23rd to the Risk/Reward Festival at PICA! Hosted by Anthony Hudson/Carla Rossi and Pepper Pepper, this second annual edition opens with drag performances by RiMoan and presents new, hourlong works from Svetlana Trantastic and Sonnei Verbena & Alex Hartman of The Pansy Agenda. All Risk/Reward events are pay what you can and any ticket gets you into a full day of festival performances and activities—get yours at risk-reward.org!

Reflections on Loneliness and Independence by Svetlana Trantastic

One drag queen’s story and why she has been single for more than a decade.

Svetlana Trantastic is a drag artist, puppeteer, and storyteller exploring themes of poverty, drug use, loneliness, and dating through humor, music, and dance. Reflections on Loneliness and Independence features parodies and stories of her own as well as collaborations with musical composers Epic Soul and Matt Lohkamp.
